Busatti Men’s Premier Italian White Batista Linen Crossed Hemstitch Pocket Square or Handkerchief [Monogram Available]
Batiste linen fabric – you can just feel the quality of the linen. The fabric, and lighter density/weave is distinguished amongst linen and lends to the soft touch. The classic and fine Busatti Men’s Premier Italian White Batista Linen Crossed Hemstitch Pocket Square or Handkerchief features a premium, pure white batiste linen which is 100% woven and made in Italy by Busatti, weavers in Tuscany Since 1842. To weave this fine quality, light-weight batiste linen, Busatti uses a long combed linen yarn which grants a better stability of the woven fabric. The linen is a hollow fiber that ‘breathes’, which allows for better absorption and a fresher feeling. Linen is a stronger, natural fiber.
The Busatti Men’s Italian White Batista Linen Crossed Hemstitch Pocket Square or Handkerchief is sized at 16″ x 16″ (40cm x 40cm) square and features a 7/8″/.875″/2.22cm crossed hemstitch design. Our fine quality handkerchiefs are packaged in a gift box that includes the Busatti logo card attached to the box. Gift box type may vary. The price includes one (1) handkerchief or pocket square and is woven and imported directly from Italy.

Weavers in Tuscany Since 1842 - From the historical village of Anghiari, the Busatti-Sassolini family has been weaving Tuscan textiles since 1842. These fabrics are timeless and reflect their deep Renaissance artisan skill in colors and styles. Busatti is still a synonym of quality and tradition, but also of innovation because of a constant search of new designs, colors and models. The operative creed for Busatti is to produce the tradition of that part of Italy that lies in the heart of Tuscany and Umbria. That tradition exclusively uses natural fibers and designs inspired by the heart and soul of the Renaissance and its rustic traditions, and mixes them with a vast range of colors. Today, the family operation is being led by their eighth generation. Every production phase is carried out in Italy with extraordinary care from the dying, spinning and weaving of the fabrics to each hand finished piece made in the historical Busatti workshop.

- For embroidered products, it is best not to iron directly on the front-side of the embroidered embellishment (you don’t want to ‘flatten it’). You can do so gently from the backside of the linen. You may wish to iron the product on top of a terry towel so that front side embroidered embellishment can softly lay between the toweling versus flattening on a harder surface underneath.
